Inventis “Leading the automotive marketplace applying new technologies such as Metaverse”

Inventis (CEO Hoon-taek Oh), which is participating in the 'Non-face-to-face leading service project in the field of daily life' implemented by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (President Heo Seong-wook, hereinafter NIPA), was established in February 2014.

The 'Non-face-to-face leading service project in areas closely related to daily life' is aimed at developing, demonstrating, distributing and disseminating non-face-to-face leading services that are closely related to people's daily lives. Through this project, the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA plan to foster companies specializing in globally oriented non-face-to-face services while increasing the competitiveness of Korea's service and software industries. This is the second year following last year. This year, it will be conducted in two parts (two tracks): upgrading last year's non-face-to-face services and developing new services.

Inventis, which was selected as a designated task in the non-face-to-face shopping field, carried out the task of developing a non-face-to-face automobile-related product marketplace service using Metaverse-based 3D/VR content. This company develops and supplies 3D and virtual reality (VR)-based automotive IT solutions and services to overseas automobile sales corporations, dealerships, and dealers in cooperation with leading domestic automobile vendors. Currently, the service is provided to over 2,000 dealers in over 20 countries. We are expanding our business into the metaverse platform area based on 3D, XR, and game engine technologies, and plan to launch the educational metaverse platform ‘MySchool’ at the end of this year. We are also developing an automobile marketplace called Metaverse. Following last year, it was selected as a 'SW High Growth Club Preliminary High Growth Company' by the Ministry of Science and ICT for the second year in a row.

In particular, Inventis is attracting attention as it is developing 'MetaAutoPark', a non-face-to-face automobile-related product marketplace service using Metaverse-based 3D/VR content. Regarding 'Meta Auto Park', Inventis CEO Oh Hoon-taek said, "The number of registered cars in Korea is 25 million, which has become a daily necessity with a 5-year replacement cycle." “We plan to provide a virtual service space that combines entertainment elements and e-commerce,” he explained.
